Grade 8 and 9 ( Year of Birth 2003/2004)

 

Contact rugby. 15-a-side. Boys team and Girls Team. Both are provincial Titleholders 2017.

 

Training

 

Sundays 11-1pm at Glendon College April and Early May

May-July: Tue and Thu from 5.30-7pm at Glendon College

August reduces to one night

September Has 7's tournaments and the Provincials.

 

MRA Interclub League

 

As members of the Toronto City U15 team, can additionally be registered to play in the Metro Rubgy Association (“MRA”) Interclub League (the “Interclub League”), a weekly 7 a side competition among Toronto’s city clubs: Toronto City, Toronto Nomads, Balmy Beach and Toronto Dragons. It is a houseleague, effective in the early season and a good way to get more rugby in.

U13

Grade 4 and 5  (Year of Birth 2006/2005)

 

Contact Rugby 10’s with modified rules.  No scrum, no mauls, for example but rucking basics ( with limited number ). Game played ball in hand -  no kicking and chasing. There are development pools in the tournaments for new players to play level specific games and tackle learners get to play with level appropriate opponents.

 

Weekend matches, training Tue and Thu from 5.30pm-7pm (May-August) plus pre season April May SUN morning 11-1pm Glendon College Bayview Lawrence.

The perfect start in rugby with safe, non-contact training that gives a fantastic head start for development of co-ordination, spacial awareness, speed, agility and sportsmanship.
